So I'm not quite convinced that the track is at 120 BPM. To me, it sounds more like 78 / 156 BPM. Regardless, I accepted your drum challenge and here is:
Hello my friend Steve :-) appology for the late response ,i just was absent here for awhile . i'm glad it's nice to know you think it really works cause I know you're someone who knows Rock music very good . many many thanks Cru for dropping these words in my comment box. Elena :-)
i like the fact that you could take all these loops and put them together in a way that makes it sound like it is a live recording. Great job "rocker-gal", i cant wait to see what youre gonna do next. DJ Swindla aka Mike
Wow...Looperman obviously has it's share of ladies who rock, mostly thanks to you Elena. This one is a stunner and you're undobtedly wrong when saying this is one of your good works...no,no...it's much more than good...it's pretty darn excellent!:) Adventourous mix of electronics and fully energetic electric guitars is a winner ticket here ! Do you play all those guitars? They sound punchy and merciless! Excellent work !
Hi Orlando no unfortunately I haven't played those guitars . but I wished I could . generally I love cooking salad by loops . :) thank you much much for stopping by and dropping these words in my box . it means a lot to me to see you have voted this as a winner ticket . thanks a lot .
Real nice job mixing the guitars with the electronic sounds. It works well in this track giving the track a very modern almost NIN feel to it. Lost of energy here plus there are some parts that bring the dynamics and make the arrangement more interesting.
Will we hear you sing, maybe throw some vocals on it?
It takes skill, a very good ear and loving patience to put a number of loops together into a kick ass song like this. Great job. I'm hearing harmonics and a lot of slides up and down the fret to set this off (bass player here) Made this a fave of mine, because yes, I still love rock also.
Hi wikkid thank you much much for checking this out and leaving these kind words in my box . it was very good if you could add bass line to it . I'll be glad if you have any suggestion about drum line . thank you much much for your fave too . by the way ,you presented me a very good drum player in looperman whose loops has been used in this track . thank you for that too . many many thanks to you . :) Elena
rip roaring , rapturous , ardent . have you played those power chord ? if yes I think according to the tempo , it's rarely for a lady . respectfully I think you can add a bass guitar too .
Hello no , I haven't played those guitars , but I wished I could. it's just all made by loops . yes I should find a suitable bass line for it . thank you.
Hello. Yes, I would say it is one of your good works. Very fun too. I like the different ideas blending together like a sampler plate. Cinematic bit too, for sure soundtrack usable, it honestly felt like watching a movie as im just listening. Incredible. Keep doing what it is you are doing, Rock on. Peace.
Hi designedImpression ahh yes I really love to make cinematic tracks ,but sometimes I feel that I will never can make cinematic music as fine as the other musicians . :( I'm glad if you have felt cinematic taste in it . thank you much much for the review .
This is a strange but really cool little piece of music. It actually all makes sense to me! Very groovy and a lot of fun. So much going on and it has some really good energy.
It would be a excellent in a cartoon. Or a silly scene in a film.
It's humorous, funky dance music. It reminds me just a little of one of the coolest, most progressive and funky, sample-based pieces of music ever made:
Hi StaticNomad :) very nice to read your comment . oh yes haha I loved the link you had sent . thank you much much for the review and this cool link . really means alot to read your words in my box .
Certainly worth a listen. I would say this falls more into experimental but I'm not sure we have that genre here at looperman. If you smashed Frank Zappa into Fat Boy Slim, this is what you would get, something musically different and out of the norm. ;) Like I said, worth a listen!
First time listener to your music LinR....Smooth and very funky groove for sure I definitely like it a lot, and the production values are ticking all the right boxes as well, you've got a great sound going on no doubt about it........There's heaps of room on the sides of this groove for added elements, at the moment everything is locked in and getting pulled along by the slipstream of the bass which is great though by adding some left and right transients with different reverb characteristics you can lift this track very easily and make it a knockout, these can take the shape of sound fx's, stabs or better yet short melodic excursions, sort of like sparks coming off a meteorite, it'll all add to the visualization....cool work, very enjoyable big thumbs up!
Not exactly comedy, but interesting none the less. I like it when artists take a chance and try something avant-garde. It is what pushes music forwards. Great job M'lady en rouge. (BTW are you named after the Chris de-Burgh song?) Cru
Hi Cru :) yes not exactly comedy , I know ..but it's funny to me . yes I was in love with that song of chris de burgh , especially when I was 21-22years old , when I had just come to here ..but now , I'm different . thank you much much steve for checking this out and the comment . :) Elena
