I made time the other night to sit down and actually work on some music and relax. I was never really happy about the quality of my track Yizu and ended up remixing the song. The BPM is much lower than I'm normally accustomed to working with but I think the laidback style works for me :) Quite happy with the way it flowed together. I have been playing around with the mutliband compressor and peak moniter in FL8. what do you think? C&C welcome.
A friend came over and gave this a listen and I ended changing some elements here and there. Mainly the synth pad and some FX.

very nice...love the break. wish i could grasp working the program this well. the oriental instruments fit nicely. i got a great set of sounds like that if u interested (Free) of course nice work.

Thanks for the compliment! Been using Fl for about 5 years now, the manual was no help in the begining lol. You got samples and loops? You should upload them here :)
I read your description...listening now to the track. Gee whiz, I am thinking that this track is damn fine. I can find nothing negative - there is good balance with the widely different sounds - nothing is stepping on each other. I am very impressed !!! Well done - definitly I would download it and put it on my playlist.
