Another short t.v. theme type song called "Sleepwalking" It has that western feel to it. I used a friends semi hollow bodied Rickenbacker electric guitar on this track,(what a great guitar, I loved it). The title fits the music perfectly.

You gotta love that guitar sound. Perfect instrumentation on this and a good solid track. Nice playing...

The Rickenbacker really stands out, that guitar was the nicest guitar I've ever played. Hope to get this song in my new software and get a newer, better mix sometime soon.

I like the old-style sound to it. Elements of Ghost Riders in the Sky (Ramrods), Link Wray, and spaghetti western themes. Clean simple, powerful.

I recently discovered Link Wray when looking for inspiration for some surf type music I was recording, very cool musician.

Thanks for all your reviews Jfw! I think that "analog" sound might be the way I "mastered" the final mix. I don't have any mastering software so last year when I was mass producing these "older" songs I was using a lot, and I mean a lot of multi band EQing to sort of "compress" the tracks. I don't do that now. I use the parametric EQ and compression rather than a standard multi band EQ. My newer songs don't have that compressed feel to them.

Basically I'm saying it was a learning phase of EQing I went through, it certainly wasn't any type of desired effect.
