n0mad23 Musique in the form of Homer, or Chaucer. My spouse and I were talking about "sound poems" today, so this is timely for sure. It's so cool how you do use the arrangement to carry a sonic narrative. The timpani at the beginning is amazing in conjunction with the snares.

The steady march of the sleep walkers, convoys filled with prosthetics on their way to a battle field that has yet to happen.

Once past, only muddy footprints, and ruts left by laden trucks are evidence that madness sullenly shuffled by. The birds have already forgotten.

Something like that?

Nice one, truly cimematic-ambient-cool.

santiagosky Couldnt recall where I heard this track playing before, but it just smacked me in the face! This is what I hear in my head as I am shoppin for groceries. Its honestly like a soundtrack goin on. (Santiago takes the turn around the Frozen Pork Chops and eyes the can of green beans at the end of the isle. But wait the extremely large salivating woman at the end sees is first...too late! Santiago is off and running and with a shrill HIYA and kick to her Pork Chops, he dashes off with his prize in hand. Just another day of shopping with Santi)Now tell me is it now tempting to try and hide in the Fresh Fruits section and wait til I stop by Walmart to see if stuff like this actually goes on or what lol...nice track by the way...

madness.

sweet fcking madness.

(quick follow up... the only way i could see this any better is an actual orchaestra playing this live, otherwise... i woulda just added a crap load of delay and made a collage if this was my track, and thank god its not. i really like the refrain, but un-refrained quality of all your stuff ern)

blairrock957 Mel Gibson (almost sober) in a kilt dragging a broad sword through the field full of dead warriors. Then as the music changes. Little lights appear. As they surround Mel, we are able to see that they are Faries. Mel screams, "Get away from me you little faries I hate Faries almost as much as I hate Jews.

Seriously
This is a well done great sounding song. Love the drums at the start and the whole song.

Scriptique Omg what a coincidence! I've been working on a medieval track myself for the past 3 months or so! It doesn't pwn as much as this one though. Epic is definitely the right word to describe this track. Although I must agree with damann about the ending: it doesn't sound quite complete?

But the dynamics are excellent, and the instrum layering is perfect. MrE you knightly knave! Why didn't you tell us you're a film scorist as well?

DaMann I'm with Zighn, this needs to be in a football movie also, or If I can find the recording of me making my "epic" touchdown I could use this song and post it on the blaggosphere!

The song doesn't sound complete though, it's the moments right before battle with the badass charging up to a whole army, and maybe one slow motion jump to kick a guy in the face, but no actual fighting going on.

On my touchdown, very epic. I play offensive right tackle, we were on the five yard line, we were running 22, fullback give up the middle, he was inches from the endzone when two linebackers hit him, the ball went flying to the ground, and I jumped on it! Touchdown!

Great track!
