i love piano and strings in techno lol
this is another somewhat older track i made, i personally like this one a lot. again, its a track that seems like it is missing stuff that would make it so much better. anyways, i hope you guys like it, its a pretty decent track, something to zone out to while listening.

Hey again everyone. I was asked to make a short little track for the menu screen of a Zombie Survival video game that my friend is making. I thought i would upload it here too and see what everyone thinks. I didnt really know how to classify it as far as its genre but I think its more on the techno side than the trance side. I may end up turning it into a full blown track with maybe some desperate and echoey vocals in the near future. |

A guy called Robin Thorpe made the backing track on Acid Pro and gave me an open license to solo on top of it with my guitar.

This track (I think is techno). Was composed on the Electribe EMX.
For recording Drums, bass, lead synth runs live from the EMX. The ES-1 playbase loops, synth sweeps and other fx created with the EMX and Kaossilator. The Kaossiolator is played live doing some fx and transitions. The full mix is compressed, then recorded with Wavelab. Finally 'mastered' with wavelab.

In the first place, it mostly was my idea to make this track to my group in Facebook "Free Loops and Samples etc." and friends in there, but when I made the text to it and began to sing.. it suddenly became to a lovely and humanitary message and good hope to all people in the world.. Well this is not going to be for everyone. It's Tech House. Very edgy pounding track. I originally started out to make a Sebastien Leger style Bass and Percussion piece but this is what it evolved into. I of course love it. But.... my main previewer simply hated it so be forewarned. This uses clips from DJ4Real and CalifKen and I hope they aren't too dismayed. I hope it reaches some of you out there.
P.S. Toned down piano loop per CalifKen's suggestion.
P.P.S. Remixed slightly yet again. Califken's piano loop is toned down but has more punch. Hopefully it won't pierce your ear but still has more presence. |
