E.Stallings, born Ebony Stallings was rasied in the mean streets of Boston in a Columbia Road apartment complex. Being bought up by her grandmother Rosa, she influenced Ebony to be self-sufficient and street wise. E. Stallings granmother stressed the importance of education encouraging her to be the best of the best. As a child E. performed at the Strand Theatre in her own rendition of Salt's (Salt & Pepa) verse on Kirk Franklin's song "Stomp", which sparked E's interest in music and the performing arts. She would later attend Boston Arts Academy, Boston's premere High School for the Visual Performing Arts where she studied theatre. At Boston Arts Academy Stallings took on several roles in multiple stage performances honing her stage presence. E. would joke with her friends and make rhymes about their trial and tribulations, but she knew that she had the love and drive for a career in entertainment. At the age 19 E. Stallings hit the pen and paper and began writing full fledged material.
