At 56, I'm about the oldest looper here.

I am learning keyboards. I need more practice. Boy, do I need more practice. I just got an old beat up electric guitar and I try to pick it up now & again.

Acid 7 and Goldwave are my main stays.

I have an new HP with freekin Vista. Unfortunately I only have an old dial-up connection. I have to download everything I want to listen to. The avg. 3 minute song takes me over 45 mins. to download.

Uriah Heap, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Government Mule, Firesign Theater, Metallica, Jan Hammer & Jeff Beck, all sorts of dance/trance/disco/electronica, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Grindhouse Soundtrack and I like to listen to my own creations.

How about groups/performers instead. Gentle Giant, Ten Years After, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Messiah, The Beatles, Led Zepplin, Jan Hammer, Les Claypool, ELP (Emerson, Lake & Palmer). There are a lot more I could have put on this list.

I try to siphon a little influence from everyone and everything. Rhythms abound around us.
