Description : This is a night Raga of north Indian Classical Music for Sitar, the most famous plugged String Instrument of North India.
Raag Jog is an evening Raag played between 9 PM - 12 night.
In this Raag you use both thirds, E and E flat, also B flat, in Indian Music this is shudha Ga and Komal ga and B flat is Komal ni.
I created a melody with some of the characteristic notes of Raag Jog, also included some rhythmic elements to make the tune more colorful. At the end of the loop, I used a typical Indian musical phrase, a pattern which is repeated 3 times so that it fits to the 2 rhythmic cicles of 16 beats and meet exactly on the first beat where the loop starts again.

Hi Jensmuse! Thank you for your amazing samples and particularly this one which I have used as part of my composition IFrit. I hope you enjoy what I Have done with the track and I hope you appreciate how I have used your sample to help create a fun and vast soundscape. Such great syncopation and notation inspired me to try and create something I haven't done before. Thanks again for your time and sharing such skill with us.

Sorry to tell you that I really do not like this version.
I would be glad if you could remove the Sitar Loop, the mood of my loop is completely disturbed, out of tune.
This loop is very energetic and has nothing to do with angel sad whisper how you call it. I even think about to remove my loop from looperman when, that this kind of things of not happen again. Regards Jens Egert

Sorry, this is too fast for my taste, so much in a hurry and I miss an harmonic correspondence with the Sitar loop.

Perhaps you try again something with less hectic? Sometimes

I like it, interesting surprises, specially the last section: a nice contrast to the bright Sitar with a deep full sound which reminds me a little bit of Dijeredoo. Regards Jens

Description : This is probably the first Sarod Loop at Looperman.
I play on the north Indian String Instrument Sarod a Melody, based on Asavari That. The Raga which is played in the morning hours. In this short sequence I integrated a few typical glissandi which are characteristic for Indian classical music. The scale is C-D-Eb-F-G-Ab-Bb.
There is no category for Sarod, so I have chosen Sitar, which is a more known Instrument than the Sarod.

Description : Better quality, idk why, the melody is very generic and boring, but i listened to this loop: https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/104414/i-wanna-go-guitar-strings-by-jbricks-free-120bpm-grime-electric-guitar-loop from jbricks (never heard of him) and oh well, made this in 5 minutes so i guess you could use it.

Description : A series of 20 loops done with the free workstation Proteus vx.All are 4 bar loops, arped and using Dm and E7.

Description : Inspired by the new flowers growing on the tree.

Description : This tune is a Mixture between a Sitar Melody in a western Music Style and a Marimba which could have been played on Guitar which I did first but I prefered the warm Marimba Sound as a contrast to the bright Sitar. it has some similarity to Bollywood mood, threrfore the title. Key is e Minor.

Description : Loop is based off of MERO, Brado, Raf Camora...

Description : I used my north Indian String Instrument Tanpura in a different way. Instead of using my original Tanpura Sound which you also can find on a separate Loop, i used this wave file to play is reverse, to get a different sound. I added a contrabass and a English Horn for the melody. The mood is a bit dark but a little contrast with the brighter sound of the English Horn which got an ethnic flavour. Key is in C sharp.
