Sup yall, Just spent the past few hours recordin this baby to a track by ConeyIslandRecords. I've posted the full rough draft version to my Soundclick.com page if anyone wants to check it out. One thing I'm gonna point out is that there's a large silent gap at the beginning because I left it there for the first guy's verse in the original (coz I'm thinkin that Coney could tweek the track some on his end for better sound qual). So yeah, I almost forgot that I did this one before 'Wannabe'. It's something that I wrote months ago and when I was looking through my text files I found it and decided that I'd give it a whirl. The name denotes the tempo. Which I recorded at default again (silly me). Anyways, it's super fast. I did it that way because I was wanting to challenge myself. I wrote what I did because I was thinkin back to all the racing movies that I'd seen. The style was just an experiment to do something that I hadn't done before. Haha, I recorded it at the default tempo again, faulkers! Anyways, this is just what's been on my mind lately. Or should I say, this is what came out (yall know me, Mr. Thinks-too-much). Aaaah! Where to start? Alright, I guess my style is like a mix of SNL's Ladies Man, Happy Gilmore, Gomer Pile (influenced slightly by Del Tha Funky Homosapien). Motivators= the Josie and the Pussycat's song Backdoor Lover, Jacktards that try to act like they got more skill than they really do, Country bumpkins tryin to claim that they 'gansta' or 'hard' or whatev, and gay disco dragqueen diva Budlite ladie's nite commercials. (edit) Oh and I almost forgot- the fake jukebox playin lame club DJs out there (the retarded voc-scratch of "Rapper"), still-single doods that brag about all the poon they get, and all of those 8 Mile mockin rappers... Oh yeah, and I slightly touch on whores! (end edit) Yeah, it's a mouthful, but in a good way. Kinda like a "Flaming Homer" mixed drink from the Simpsons- a party that everyone's invited to, haha! The qual on this might come out soundin funny because of the FX I added to it- 3 channels. One sub'd out and lows, two busted speaker EQ FX, three is boosted, amped louder.
