moderators are chosen based on who I feel would be suitable and has made a good contribution to the site already. Usually trusted forum members that everyone already knows. |

I added a few new things to the profile colours.
Firstly I made a few new ranks .. Advanced & Elite.
Secondly, I made it so that when you hover over someone's name you should see a bit of text appear that tells you their rank and their current rating.
Heres how its worked out.
you score points for the things you do on the site.
1 Point - Upload an avatar
1 Point - Upload a track
0 points - Post in the forum - 2009-05-12 changed from 2 to 0
2 points - review a loop
2 points - review an acapella
3 points - review a track
3 points - upload a loop
3 points - upload an acapella
If you have a rating between 1 & 499 you become an active member. Why not upload an avatar to get off the starting grid.
If you manage a rating over 500 you become an advanced member.
If you manage a rating over 1000 you become an elite member.
If you manage a rating over 2500 you become a SUPER STAR.
Just a bit of fun but its good to see at a glance who the stars of the show are. |

Ok, so I was bored and I did the match... I'm only a few experience points away from leveling up, score. My figures are 848... Opps, scratch that, 850, YAY! And I just finished layer one of a remix I did of Armin Van Buuren and sent em an email requesting permission to post it. So with any luck here in a few days we'll have that additional point too.
Question though- Do yall want me to start throwin up the loop segments of some of the other tracks I've done (even though some of 'em are between 30 seconds to a minute)?? I just know that at first there were some issues with the initial batch of loops I uploaded and don't wanna hastle anyone with the same mess again. Later on yall! |

I am brand spanking new here but I have to say that for a musician community this site has it all and is absolutely brilliant. I would like to be a contributor as much as possible, just need a little time to learn how. After just one day it's easy to see how the rankings work and why they are the way they are. Thanks again to everyone who brings the energy and love here. |

Wow thats really a nice feature but when I hover over any Advanced Member it shows 'Avanced' I think there is some typing mistake. |

How many points could/would one get for referals? I just recommended this site to this new buddy of mine on myspaints (a cool artist that goes by the name HabberDashery, I think I got it right) and was about to msg my friend CybaGeist and see if he wanted to join as well. We'll see how it goes though, ya know. Gnite all, I'm feelin a bit bushed. PV/TC all! |

Haha, bag another for me. I just invited the band Not Yet Rated (on myspace and if you like Alternative Metal, I highly recommend that ya check 'em out). Anyways, it came by way of my sendin 'em an email requesting permission to remix one of their older tracks (like from when they were still in high school, yall) and it just popped out- "Hey, come n check out Looperman.com!". Well, not in those exact words, buuut. Haha, now I'm off to (re)post a remix I just remembered that I had written permission to post. Later on! |
